A Happy Coincidence? New FMB Scotland Board are almost all Esteem Customers

We were delighted to learn that the new FMB Scotland Board was mostly made up of SMEs who have worked with Esteem to gain VQs, Supervisory and Management Training over the years.  Is this a coincidence, or can we take some credit for assisting these talented Scottish SMEs?

Andrew Haldane from Haldane Construction Services took part in our Scotland NVQ 7 programme in 2017 and completed the NVQ 7 in Construction Senior Management.  In addition to this we currently have one of Andrew’s Managers, Peter Archibald completing his Operations Manager SVQ via our Managers Modern Apprenticeship Programme.

Lindsay Neill from Crannog Construction Ltd, is in the process of completing his NVQ 7 in Construction Senior Management with us, alongside his Co-Director Rosie.  In addition to that Crannog have several candidates on our Modern Apprenticeship Construction Site Supervisor programmes.  One of which – Ross Downie, was our very first ever Modern Apprenticeship completer!

Alasdair Raitt from H.M Raitt & Sons Ltd  attended our Level 5 Business Improvement Programme some years ago and more recently he put 2 of his Managers on our first ever Modern Aprenticeship programme in Construction Contracting Operations Management.

At Esteem we pride ourselves in our customer relationships and we believe the 3 companies above are great examples of long-standing training partnerships.  We were overjoyed to hear that Andrew, Lindsay and Alasdair were part of the FMB Scotland Board – and are sure they’ll be an asset in this role and the wider Industry.
