Over the past week the team has been bursting with pride as our candidates pick up awards at the FMB Scotland Master Builder Awards and Trades House of Glasgow Modern Apprenticeship Awards!
Last Thursday evening Andy attended the FMB Scotland Master Builder Awards Reception at The Scotch Whisky Experience in Edinburgh. It was a brilliant night topped off by one of our long term clients winning not one but two awards – Haldane Construction Services Ltd. The company won best kitchen and best Heritage.
Andrew Haldane, the Managing Director, was there to pick up the awards. Andrew has completed our FMB NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Management programme and our NVQ Level 7: Senior Construction management programme. Since then Andrew has put supervisors and mangers onto our SVQ Level 3 and 4 programmes. We are over the moon with team Haldane’s success!

I’ve been in business/construction for 34 years and it’s really only since I stumbled across Esteem in 2012 that I have managed to fast track my career and knowledge to the level I attain presently and in reflection I am so glad that happened. Best CPD experience I have and probably likely to have in my life.

Then on Monday, Ross Walsh from Morris and Spottiswood, won two awards at the Trades House of Glasgow Modern Apprenticeship Awards. The awards were for Community Engagement and the Scottish Building Contractors Association Fund Award for Best Candidate in the Construction Industry. Ross completed our second Modern Apprenticeship SVQ Level 3: Occupational Work Supervision programme in 2017. He has since progressed and is currently on our SVQ Level 4: Construction Site Management programme. It is brilliant to see him continuing to succeed within his role and to gain recognition for his hard work.
Congratulations Ross – we are thrilled with your achievement and looking forward to celebrating with you at our next workshop.
What an exciting week it has been. We are thrilled to see our candidates and clients succeed and we wish them all the best for the future.
