The beginning of our third SVQ Level 4 programme
28 candidates begin their developmental journey and work towards achieving their SVQ Level 4 qualification and CSCS Black Card.
On Tuesday we welcomed 28 candidates onto our Modern Apprenticeship, Construction Site Management programme. This programme leads to an SVQ Level 4 qualification and CSCS Black Card. The candidates come from a variety of different companies including A&M Macrete, AMCO Giffen, Chas Smith Shoplifters, Dawn Homes, G McNaughton& son, George Leslie, Hillhouse Quarry Group, J Sives Surfacing, James Cowie & co, Kilmac Renewables, McTaggart Construction, Morris & Spottisood, P&M Sinclair, Sharkey Group and WB Joinery.
It was fantastic to catch up with the 5 candidates who have progressed from one of our SVQ Level 3 programmes. We are also working with a handful of new and candidates so again it was great to learn more about what they do.
The first workshop is an excellent opportunity for candidates to fully understand our unique approach to SVQs and what they can expect. We introduce them to our online portal which gives them 24hour access to their evidence. Trudy, the programme facilitator also begins to explore a Site Managers role and what it means to be an effective leader. The candidates certainly left with a lot of food for thought!
Our Construction Site Management programme is a fully funded modern apprenticeship. Due to our unique approach to SVQs candidates will attend 5 developmental workshops. Here the key responsibilities a Site Manager has are discussed alongside key tools and processes which could help them manage their teams and workload. At Esteem we ensure that candidates are supported throughout their SVQ and with this, candidates will also attend a handful of 1:1 sessions with their assessor along with a site visit.
We want our candidates to build confidence and enhance their knowledge whilst achieving their SVQ Level 4. With this we are more than happy to answer any questions a candidate may have and help them implement new processes to help their company move forward. However, don’t just listen to us:
The Esteem programme is outstanding. The team are patient and knowledgable and always willing to help. Without a shadow of a doubt this programme has developed me to the standard that I have always wanted to be at
Martin McKeane, Graduate Construction Manager at Ferrovial Agroman
Good luck to all the candidates who are just beginning their SVQ Level 4 with us. We are looking forward to working with you in the coming months to help you develop and achieve your construction qualification.
If you would like to build a confident and knowledgable workforce then please do not delay. Contact Andy (andy@esteemtraining.com – 07766 658 083) today to find out more about our fully funded SVQ Level 3 and 4 programmes.
