The Audit

In 2017-18 we were awarded our first Modern Apprenticeship contract. Due to successful delivery we almost doubled our awarded places for 2018-19 financial year.

Recently, Skills Development Scotland (SDS) carried out their Quality Assurance Assessment. This was a 4 day audit which involved SDS observing our unique workshop delivery process and various meetings. Candidates and their employers were also interviewed. We are thrilled to announce the audit was a great success with SDS stating that we met Quality Standards to a ‘high level with major strengths.’ This was our first audit to the European Framework for Quality Management Standards and due to our fantastic result we will now get audited every 3 years instead of yearly! Everyone at Esteem was ecstatic to receive this recognition from an accredited body.

SDS placed great emphasis on the fact that we create a ‘supportive environment’ for our candidates and that we invest in learning. We believe this is why our 95% achievement rate exceeded SDS national benchmarks by 25%. In addition to having 49% repeat business.
