George Clarke Launches Ministry of Building Innovation (MOBI)

In case you missed the news reports last week – George Clarke (the well known TV Architect) is launching the Ministry of Building Innovation (MOBI).  MOBI aims to encourage and inspire younger generations to break into the building industry and alter the way we think about homes.

Even the Government has said that Britain’s current housing market is “broken”, and this has only encouraged George Clarke’s vision to change the situation that we are in with housing and to create entirely innovative homes, while encouraging younger generations to choose a career in the Construction industry.

In a BBC Interview last week George reminded us all that we will need a quarter of a million new entrants to Construction over the next 3 years – so delighted to hear that MOBI is aiming to encourage more young people into the Construction industry by running various housebuilding courses (via Teesside Uni) where George will be lecturing on their BTEC in Advance Construction.
