Our “Summer Intern” leaves us after 1.5 years (YES we are that good)!
It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to our long-standing Summer Intern come Project Coordinator, Iris. Iris joined the Esteem team in 2015 – whilst studying for her Masters Degree, and what was to be a 3-month placement turned into a year and a half. All we can say is she must have loved working with us!
Most of our clients will remember Iris – who was a fantastic member of the team and as such we could not let her leave without a proper send off. Last night, we had a lovely meal at a local gin bar/steak house (The Alston Bar and Beef in Glasgow for those in the know). A jolly time was had by all and Iris even got a wee farewell card and gift. It was a nice surprise to see that she had also prepared lovely gifts for the team – handmade cards designed with the Esteem cartoons in true Iris style.
We were very lucky to have Iris for as long as we did, but she must now leave to focus on completing her Masters and following that some travelling.
The Esteem team wishes Iris all the best for her future – we know she will go far!
