Esteem Training is a leading Construction training provider that specialise in the unique delivery of developmental Modern Apprenticeship programmes. We are always on the lookout for the right people to join us!

We are currently looking for a Trainee Assessor in construction, a Trainee Candidate Support Coordinator, Trainee Business Development Coordinator and an Events Coordinator to join our team!

Trainee Assessor in Construction 

Esteem is a leading Construction training company that specialise in the unique delivery of developmental Modern Apprenticeship programmes. In March 2022 we became employee owned.  We are looking for a Trainee Assessor to join our expanding team.  
 

The Person  

We are looking for someone with a Construction background who is willing to embrace the Esteem experience, offer exceptional customer service and be trained up to become part of our unique delivery team.  

This person will be comfortable with our dynamic culture, change and collaboration and possess a drive for continuous improvement.  We are looking for someone who embodies our company values of integrity, honesty, quality and self-development. 

Successful candidates will have a minimum of 1 years’ Construction Supervisory or Management experience and be able to demonstrate resilience, attention to detail and that they possess problem solving skills.   

We are looking for someone who is IT literate, and ideally with experience of using an electronic portfolio as well as Microsoft Office software. We also require a ‘Can Do’ attitude, people who have the ability to work on their own initiative. 

Applicants will also need to be a car driver/owner.  

The Role  

To work towards the completion of the Esteem Assessor Training Programme in order to assess Modern Apprenticeships within the Construction sector.  

The role will include: 

  • Learning to work to Esteem delivery models, processes and approach  
  • Understanding how to plan and deliver an effective journey for the candidate  
  • Achieving the Assessor Award  

If you join the Esteem Training Team you will be offered: 

  • A salary of £28,000 (with potential to move up to £32,000 on the achievement of agreed objectives) 
  • A 4-day working week

Trainee Candidate Support Coordinator

The Person  

Excellent communication skills are key for this role and it would suit someone who enjoys meeting new people and building relationships. 

This person will have experience and knowledge of the Construction industry.  We are looking for someone who is willing to embrace the Esteem experience, offer exceptional customer service and be trained up to become part of our unique delivery team.  

This person will be comfortable with our dynamic culture, change and collaboration and possess a drive for continuous improvement.  We are looking for someone who embodies our company values of integrity, honesty, quality and self-development. 

Successful candidates will be comfortable travelling throughout Scotland and be able to demonstrate resilience, attention to detail and that they possess problem solving skills.   

We are looking for someone who is IT literate, ideally with experience of using Microsoft Office365. We also require a ‘Can Do’ attitude, someone who is adaptable and who has the ability to work on their own initiative.

The Role  

To work towards becoming a Candidate Support Coordinator.  

The role will include: 

  • Building relationships and supporting candidates to achieve their Modern Apprenticeships 
  • Supporting the Assessors and the wider team to deliver our Modern Apprenticeship programmes 
  • To carry out Skills Development Scotland (SDS) Progress Reviews to support candidates on their journey 
  • Assisting with gathering candidate evidence 
  • Visiting candidates on-site

Trainee Business Development Coordinator

The Person  

We are looking for a highly motivated and dynamic team player who is willing to embrace the Esteem experience, offer exceptional customer service and be part of our talented business development team.  The successful applicant will be self-motivated, able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, enthusiasm and adaptability. 

This person will be comfortable with our dynamic culture, change and collaboration and possess a drive for continuous improvement.  We are looking for someone who embodies our company values of integrity, honesty, quality and self-development. 

The Role 

  • Develop relationships with new and existing clients  
  • To work with the Sales team to recruit the target number of candidates  
  • Carry out candidate eligibility calls, using the Assessors when required to ensure we have the ‘right recruits on right seats’ 
  • Carry out signup meeting, complete relevant paperwork and ensure it is compliant 
  • Travel to and attend existing client and candidate meeting as required 

Additional Skills 

We are looking for a highly motivated and driven person who is IT literate with experience of using Microsoft Office and ideally SharePoint.  We also require a ‘Can Do’ attitude, and someone with excellent communication skills, the ability to work on their own initiative and have a 100% commitment to customer service.  It is essential that applicants can drive and have access to a vehicle that they can use for work purposes.

Events Coordinator 

Esteem is a leading Construction training company that specialise in the unique delivery of developmental Modern Apprenticeship programmes. In March 2022 we became employee owned.  We are looking for an experienced Events Coordinator to join our expanding team.  
 

The Person  

This person will have a track record in booking events, organising travel and accommodation.  Attention to detail and communication skills are key for this role and it would suit someone who is outgoing and would attend and get involved in workshops.   

We are looking for someone who is willing to embrace the Esteem experience, offer exceptional customer service and be trained up to become part of our unique delivery team.  

This person will be comfortable with our dynamic culture, change and collaboration and possess a drive for continuous improvement.  We are looking for someone who embodies our company values of integrity, honesty, quality and self-development. 

Successful candidates will have a good knowledge of Scottish geography and be comfortable travelling throughout Scotland.   

We are looking for someone who is IT literate, ideally with experience of using Microsoft Office365. We also require a ‘Can Do’ attitude, someone who is adaptable and who has the ability to work on their own initiative. 

The Role  

The role will include: 

  • Coordinating workshops and team events 
  • Coordinating travel and accommodation 
  • Office management 
  • Administrative support for the team
