A successful Leadership and Management Masterclass for Wates Group

We have recently held a successful Leadership and Management Masterclass for 13 Site Managers at the Chiltern Academy Site in Luton.

Last month Trudy, our Managing Director, went down to Luton to hold a Leadership and Management Masterclass for 13 Site Managers from Wates Group. These candidates represented the supply chain on the school project in Luton.

The masterclass focused on the skills, knowledge and behaviour required to lead and manage a team effectively. It also explored the key attributes and role of a manager. We find it to always be a very interesting workshop which sparks lots of discussion and self examination.

Can you think of a few hints and tips Trudy may have given the candidates?

At Esteem we love to help and encourage others to improve their leadership and management skills. All in all it was a great trip and Trudy thoroughly enjoyed helping the candidates build upon their skills. It was also great to receive such excellent feedback from the candidates. The consensus was that the workshop had opened their eyes and that they will use the tools they have learnt to improve their leadership and management capabilities.

I will walk away with a different mind. It (the workshop) was well worth it

Derrick, Site Manager at Wates Group
