Congratulations Allan for achieving your Diploma!
Another proud moment for Esteem as Allan, one of our talented assessors, achieves a Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health.
At Esteem, training and development is at the heart of our culture and everyone within the team is encouraged to seek training opportunities. This summer Allan decided to enroll onto a Workplace Safety and Health course. His goal was to enhance his understanding of certain policies and processes for encouraging a safe and productive workplace. The course was run by Alison, a free online education and skills training company based in the Republic of Ireland.
The course itself covered a variety of topics which explored ways for implementing and developing a safety culture. This included, how to enhance team awareness of safety conditions, how to encourage ideas for safety improvements and how to identify training needs of a team. Although the course was not construction specific Allan found it to be highly informative and believes he will be able to use what he learnt to help his candidates with their own development.
Allan is already planning his next course with Alison in an effort to continually enhance and widen his knowledge to help candidates in all areas of construction. Good luck Allan and once again congratulations for achieving your Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health!
