Middelton Hall Step up their game with the introduction of their living wage policy
On Friday – Trudy had the pleasure of working once again with the Managers at Middleton Hall in Darlington – this time to implement the Living Wage Initiative. Middleton Hall will become one of the first employers in the north east of England and one of the first social care organisations in the UK to become a Living Wage Employer. For those of you who are not aware of the initiative – which provides an ethical and responsible approach to pay, the living wage is an hourly rate that has been set independently, updated annually and is calculated according to the basic cost of living. The current wage is £7.85 an hour.
Today was the first of 3 workshop sessions to roll out the initiative.
