Another successful trip for Trudy and Allan who went across to Northern Ireland for one of our developmental NVQ Level 4 Construction Site Supervision workshops.
This was the third workshop for our 13 candidates which explored a fundamental part of their roles – effective project management. A variety of tools and techniques were discussed with the aim to help the candidates manage future projects effectively, to ensure deadlines are met within budget and to an excellent standard. This involves exploring the full process of managing a project from start to finish. It is always a very interesting topic which we believe equips our candidates with valuable techniques which will help them in the future.
As part of our developmental approach to the NVQ Level 4 Construction Site Supervision programme, the candidates are given the unique experience of using CITBNI’s excellent training facilities. This includes the virtual training facility called VET360. This allows our candidates to view construction sites across Northern Ireland and to learn from real time examples. If you would like to find out more about VET360 then please click here.
We believe that VET360 adds a unique element to our workshops and enables candidate involvement. In particular, we have found that the VET360 footage is highly relevant and great for increasing understanding of certain topics. Candidate feedback is always extremely positive with many saying how much they enjoy it.
