The Esteem Team has grown once again!

August is proving to be a great month for Esteem as we welcome David, our new assessor, to the team!

Our New Assessor

David joins the team with 10 years experience of working as a joiner before lecturing Carpentry and Joinery at Ayrshire college. He is also a part-time firefighter in his spare time! With all this experience, David has certainly brought an abundance of knowledge and enthusiasm to his new role as an assessor. We all believe that with this David is going to be a fantastic assessor and will be able to help all of our candidates build upon their skills and achieve their SVQ or NVQ Construction qualification.

David’s first few weeks have been very busy as he meets everyone in the team and learns more about each of our roles and the values which underpin the Esteem culture. He has also been working very closely with our talented assessors learning how we do things at Esteem and the additional support we offer to our candidates.

Due to the developmental route we take to SVQs and NVQs we always find that it is very valuable to take our newest team members to our workshops so that they can truly picture what we do and how we do it. As it has been summer we have not been running any workshops, however, from next week it is all go at Esteem as our Occupational Work Supervision and Construction Site Supervisor programme start up again as well as our Construction Site Management programme. We are really looking forward to hearing David’s views of these workshops and we hope he enjoys meeting all of our great candidates.

Everyone at Esteem is very pleased that David has joined our growing team and we all hope that he enjoys being a Steamie!

We are always on the lookout for passionate individuals who have a real interest in the construction industry as well as a desire to help others develop and succeed. If you like the sound of what we do then we would love to hear from you. Please send your CV to info@esteemtraining.com and we will be in touch as soon as possible.
