The Esteem team were left wondering where time has gone as our eighth, Modern Apprenticeship, Occupational Work Supervision programme begins in Cumbernauld and Argyll!
Over the past week we have welcomed 31 candidates onto our developmental, SVQ Level 3, Occupational Work Supervision programme in both Argyll and Cumbernauld. Candidates were raring to go and looking forward to achieving their construction qualification and CSCS Gold Card.
Our SVQ3, OWS programme is a fantastic opportunity for Site Supervisors to build confidence and knowledge within their role. During our unique 4 half day developmental workshops the key responsibilities a Site Supervisor has are discussed along with processes and tools which could help. We also ensure that candidates are supported throughout their SVQ and with this, candidates will also attend a handful of 1:1 sessions with their assessors along with a site visit.
The candidates came from a variety of companies which makes the first workshop very interesting as everyone learns a little more about what each other does.
Previous candidates have found the programme to be both beneficial and enjoyable:
A well organised course with good content and use of technology for ease of communication of the coursework. Esteem have been helpful and experienced staff to guide you through the course.
Stuart Jackson, MacLeod Construction, OWS P7 Argyll
It is always a very exciting time meeting new candidates and learning more about what it is they and do and what they are hoping to get out of the programme. The team is also thrilled to be running the programme in both Argyll and Cumbernauld.
Good luck to the candidates who are just beginning their developmental journey with us. We hope you enjoy the programme and that it helps you build confidence and knowledge. Everyone at Esteem is looking forward to helping and supporting you through your SVQ.
