Our 9th SVQ3: Occupational Work Supervision Programme begins

Time sure does fly when you are helping Site Supervisors and Managers achieve their construction qualification.

Last week the team was left wondering where time has gone as we welcomed 5 Site Supervisors onto our ninth, SVQ Level 3: Occupational Work Supervision programme. This is always a very exciting time for the team as we love getting to know our candidates and learning more about their role and what they would like to get out of the programme.

Our fully funded, SVQ3 programme, is a brilliant opportunity for supervisors to learn new skills and to learn from others in a similar role. Over the next 6 months the candidates will attend 4 developmental workshops. Here, the key responsibilities a site supervisor has are discussed along with tools and processes which can help. Candidates will also have a handful of 1:1 sessions with their assessor and an onsite visit. We find these sessions to be very useful for the candidate as it gives them the opportunity to discuss things further and to clear up any misunderstandings.

We are thrilled to be working with these candidates and we are looking forward to helping them develop within their role. We think they are too!

At Esteem, we invest in our candidates journey and hope that they build confidence and learn new skills through our programmes. We believe that our care and dedication is the reason why we have 49% repeat business. However, don’t just listen to us:

This course has help me a lot and the support from Esteem has been brilliant. I believe these workshops have helped with the overall way I organise my working day and with my confidence. I would 100% recommend Esteem.

Lee, Site Supervisor at Ashwood Scotland
