Well Trudy had experienced the vision of the future on Thursday morning!
Travelling from London to the US is already quite an exciting journey, but little did she know she would also thoroughly enjoy the shorter journey from her London hotel directly to Terminal 5 at London Heathrow airport. The pod is a driverless, automatic and very futuristic looking vehicle that transports people directly to the airport.
Made even more fascinating was the fact that there is a “pod car park” where you can park your car and jump straight into your own private pod and there are links to a number of different hotels to the station!
We just thought we should share this amusing and amazing piece of innovation as it is true…
