Safety First! Introducing ICE Stickers…
We’ve been hearing a lot of buzz about the introduction of ICE (In Case of Emergency) stickers onsite.
The upshot of it is, a simple sticker (or self-adhesive tab containing ICE information) can be easily fitted to the exterior of the workers hard hat.
It securely stores critical and potentially lifesaving I.D information, which can be essential in the event of a serious accident or medical emergency.
Made from 3M reflective material, it is 100% waterproof and fully secure with a security flap to protect the workers information.
In Case of Emergency, these stickers provide the first aider or ambulance staff, with instant access to the victims’ potential lifesaving information and enables emergency contacts to be quickly notified of the situation 24/7.
This can be a cost effective solution, to strengthen existing on site safety procedures and worker information records. However, this does rely on operatives wearing the correct helmets at all times!
Esteem are a big fan of this idea and plan to include it in our workshop material going forward.
