Our second SVQ Level 3 programme in Aberdeen begins

Last week we welcomed 21 candidates onto our second SVQ Level 3: Occupational Work Supervision programme in Aberdeen. The candidates came from a variety of companies including A&A Civils, ASW Aberdeen, Barratt Homes, BEAR Scotland, Chas Smith Shoplifters, CMB Building Contractors, Farrans Construction, Hunter Construction, Paul Mulcair, Rae Brown & co, Robertson Eastern, Stewart Milne Group, and WM Donald. The team are thrilled to be back in Aberdeen and helping more Site Supervisors develop within their role.

The first workshop is a great opportunity for candidates to meet each other as well as their assessor who will be supporting and guiding them through their SVQ. The programme is explained in detail along with a guide on how to use our online portal. This gives candidates 24hour access to their evidence – no paper manuals here!

Our fully funded SVQ Level 3 programme is a fantastic opportunity for Site Supervisors to develop within their role. Our aim is to help candidates achieve their qualification whilst enhancing their knowledge and confidence. The programme consists of 4 unique half day developmental workshops. Here the knowledge and understanding aspect of the programme is worked through. Candidates are also able to bounce ideas of one another – we have found this ‘shared learning’ to be an invaluable developmental tool. The candidates will also have a handful of 1:1 sessions with their assessor and an on site visit.

At Esteem we strive to deliver SVQs in an enjoyable and informative manner. This is why we believe we have a 95% success rate! However, don’t just listen to us:

This has been a great experience. It has opened my eyes to a lot of things especially in what things mean and how to put information across. The training has been great and gives you a better understanding of a supervisors role.
