The Steemies Celebrate Karen’s 1 Year Anniversary

Today we are celebrating Karen’s 1-year anniversary as a Steemie. We can’t believe how quick the year has gone and we’re so excited to see Karen continue her amazing journey at Esteem.

Karen joined Esteem back in 2018, coming from a background in Childcare, Esteem was a completely new and exciting sector for her. With her kind and thoughtful nature as well as her amazing work ethic, we knew that Karen was going to be a great and a much needed addition to the team.

Karen is the backbone for not only the team here at Esteem but for all our candidates progressing through our programmes. Her role as Candidate Support Coordinator gives the candidates much needed support if, and when they need it.

We asked Karen how she has found her first year as a Steemie:

“Firstly, I can’t quite believe how fast the last year has gone. I didn’t know what to expect when I started, but with the help of all the incredible guys here at Esteem, I now feel like a fully-fledged Steemie. My most memorable moment of the last year was seeing Trudy facilitate one of my first workshops. It was truly inspirational, and I have never forgotten how she commanded the room and gained so much respect from all the candidates due to her amazing knowledge and communication skills. Initially, I was nervous about all the driving I would have to do, but it’s made me so much more confident on the road and a better driver all round. I hope in the years to come I can learn even more from the amazing team around me and hopefully I can continue to develop within my role and continue to help candidates and assessors alike.”

It’s great to hear all the brilliant things Karen has to say about her time as a Steemie so far. Karen is an absolute asset to the team, and we cannot wait to see where this will role will take her.

Sadly, Last week the team said goodbye to marketing Steemie Laura.

Our amazing marketing guru moved on to pastures new last week after an incredible 18 months here at Esteem.

Laura came to Esteem and really brought us in to the 21st century. She worked extensively on our social media channels and website. Our marketing channels are now flourishing, and it is great being able to have contact with clients, candidates and keep up to date with the industry.

We had a fantastic team dinner to celebrate Laura leaving and as you can see, she was delighted to be presented her leaving gift by our finance director Ian.

We wish Laura all the success in her new position and she will be hugely missed.

If you’re interested in becoming a Steemie then check out our current vacancies here. Or, send your CV to info@esteemtraining.com and we will be in touch as soon as possible.
