Welcome to the team Karen and Grant

Welcome to the team

The Esteem team has grown once again and we are delighted to introduce to you our brand new Steemies – Karen and Grant.

Karen has joined the team as Customer Service Coordinator with the goal to help us accommodate the growing demand for our Modern Apprenticeship programmes. Karen will be out and about meeting all of our fantastic candidates and helping them from sign-up to completion of their SVQ. With Karen’s background in After School care and experience of being a casework officer we know she is going to become an asset to the team very quickly!

On Karen’s first day she attended a workshop for our SVQ Level 3, Occupational Work Supervision programme. We always find that attending workshops is a great way to truly understand what it is we do at Esteem and the focus we place on helping our candidates develop within their role. The rest of Karen’s first few weeks have been filled with meeting the team and learning more about our ethos. Karen has also been to a few a Sign up meetings for our upcoming programmes. Talk about a full on few weeks!

Grant will be taking on the role of Esteem Coordinator and has joined the team only this week. One of his main responsibilities is to help and assist our NVQ candidates throughout their journey with Esteem. Grant will also take the lead on arranging venues for our developmental workshops. Grant joins the Esteem team with a wealth of knowledge and experience with regards to construction and project management. We look forward to hearing Grant’s views on what we do and any suggestions that he may have!

Like Karen, Grant’s first week has been a very busy one and has involved meeting all the Esteem team. It was great that Grant joined us this week as he got to attend our first ever SVQ3 programme in Argyll which began on Tuesday. This was certainly a milestone for Esteem as a whole and it was great that he could be apart of it.

We are all thrilled to welcome Karen and Grant into the team and we look forward to working alongside both of them.

After a very successfull first year of running Modern Apprenticeships, we are always on the look out for new Steemies to join our team and to help with our growing demand. If you have an interest in the construction industry and a passion for helping others develop then we would love to hear from you.
