With Any Major Crises Comes Opportunity

With any major crises comes opportunity and, like most businesses, we have found ourselves adapting and using this time to step back and reflect. Esteem have used the last couple of months to re-engineer our business, positively embrace technology, as well as focusing on our carbon footprint.

No workshops this year

One major change for us – has been that due to social distancing, we have taken the difficult decision to cancel all our workshops this financial year*.  Anyone who has worked with Esteem knows that our developmental workshops play a major part in our Modern Apprenticeship programmes, in fact we are the only provider in the UK to offer them.  So, what now?  We have adapted all our training materials and approach to work with you virtually.

Invest in technology

We take a very supportive and personal approach to your experience with us. Our aim is to free up your time as much as we can.  We are investing in technology and digital assessment methods. We want to further embrace technology and look at creative ways to assess remotely and increase our use of video calls with clients and candidates, whether that be WhatsApp, Facetime or Teams. We tailor the experience to work for YOU!

Smarter home working

We have invested in the home offices of all the ‘Steemies’ so that they have the technology and the ergonomic space they need to be as comfortable as possible whilst working from home.  All these changes not only vastly reduce our time travelling, but also positively impacts our carbon footprint.  We intend to focus on reducing our carbon footprint this year and use the time to measure and implement ways of reducing it even further.

Keep the Esteem magic

We hope these changes positively impact our candidates and employers. Not holding workshops will result in less travel and time away from site for candidates. We are working hard to develop our new models and to ensure that our USPs focus on the candidate and customer journey. We want to provide you with a fully supportive experience to switch you on to learning.  We won’t let you miss out on the Esteem magic!

Esteem are dynamic

Positively, this pandemic has highlighted just how dynamic and adaptable Esteem are – we’re not going anywhere!  We have been blown away by the number of clients getting in touch asking us to develop their teams whilst on furlough.  It is fantastic the industry has continued to focus on training over the past few weeks and now as clients return to site, we can provide the flexible solutions to allow you and your team to continue prioritising learning.

Now ask yourself these questions…

  • Are you are looking for a supportive, personal, reliable, fun way to learn online?
  • Do you want a learning experience that is tailored to you?
  • Would you like to gain a recognised SVQ qualification to endorse the skills you already have?
  • Do you need your CSCS Gold Supervisors, Black Managers card, or MCIOB?
  • Have you completed an SVQ with use before and looking for accelerated progression routes?
  • Do you want to develop your Supervisors and Managers to lead your team to success?

If the answer is yes, then Esteem is the training provider for you. We are here to get you to where you want to be!  Our experienced Assessors will take the time to guide you through the qualifications and tailor the experience to work for you.

* Please note at this time we are not running developmental workshop programmes but hope to resume these once social distancing is no longer a requirement
