Build a Better Leader

Our Construction Specific Leadership and Management Programme is designed to strengthen and develop Construction leaders and senior managers in the key areas required by our Industry to succeed in today’s climate.

We know it can be lonely at the top, and our workshops encourage peer to peer learning where challenges and experiences can be shared amongst like-minded people whilst working towards the highest level qualifications available.

The Build a Better Leader (BBL) programme has been designed by Esteem Training based on our experience of working in the construction sector with Leaders and Managers for over 35 years.  Our aim is to bring user friendly learning to Senior Construction practitioners that is firmly rooted in academic rigour.

Realise your full potential as an Effective Leader

Once you have completed the Build a Better Leader Programme, you will have the option to progress to acheive the SCQF L11 in Construction Senior Management.  This is a recognised route to CSCS Black card, as well as a fast-track route to membership of CIOB.

CITB grants and funding are available for Levy paying members to utilise to fund this training

CITB Skills and Training fund â€“ up to £25,000 (£4,800pp)

CITB Leadership and Management Fund – up to £100,000

£1,500 CITB Short Duration Qualification Grant upon completion.

70% funding for this programme via the local Employer Networks.

This programme is designed to develop individuals who are in a role in their organisation where they must provide strategic leadership and management.  Delegates should be responsible for managing people and strategy within their area of the business.  It is a key part of the programme that they have an appointed Mentor who can work with them on the implementation of the learning.
