Happy 75th Birthday FMB!
Northern Ireland is buzzing today as delegates fly into Belfast to attend the Federation of Master Builders 75th anniversary event.
In addition to celebrating the anniversary, the delegates will hear a panel discussion on ‘Tackling the NI construction skills crisis’.
Panelists include Gavin McGuire ,Director FMB NI., Paul Frew MLA, DUP, Gerry Mullan MLA, SDLP and Barry Nielsen, Chief Executive, CITB NI.
Our very own Martina Hofner was lucky enough to be invited to the event and is looking forward to celebrating with FMB (after a 10+ year relationship between Esteem and FMB).
One of the key questions to be addressed is What can the Government and industry do to address the current skills shortage in NI? In particular, how can we stop the skills drain into the Republic of Ireland and mainland Britain?
The team are looking forward to hearing the outcomes of this panel from Martina and hopefully getting a slice of that cake! ;0)
