20 Site Supervisors begin their developmental journey with us

We’re thrilled to welcome 20 candidates on to our 7th, Construction Site Supervision programme and to help them achieve their SVQ Level 3 qualification and CSCS Gold Card.

It was brilliant for the team to meet the candidates at the first workshop which was held at the Westerwood hotel in Cumbernauld. The team enjoyed hearing more about what it is the candidates do and what they hope to gain from the programme. Everyone, including the Esteem team, is eager to hit the ground running!

The candidates have come from a range of companies including: JGM, Castle Group, CCG, Energy Assets, F Brown, Jacks 1 Civil Engineering, John Wylie, P&D Scotland and Jusher. We find that with such a diverse range of companies, workshop discussions are of great interest as candidates learn more about each others specialities and the impact different trades can have on each other.

This CSS programme is fully funded under the Modern Apprenticeship scheme in Scotland. It is also the only route to a CSCS Gold Card, unless a candidate has a relevant SVQ Level 2. Click here for more information regarding this.

Over the course of the next few months, the candidates will attend 5 half day developmental workshops which address the key aspects of a Site Supervisors role. Here, candidates will receive a bespoke toolkit which contains key information and templates which they can use to help implement new procedures. Our goal at Esteem is to ensure all candidates are given the opportunity to develop. In addition, candidates will have a handful of 1:1 sessions with their assessor and an on site visit. These sessions are designed to ensure everyone is supported throughout their VQ.

If you would like to develop your rising stars please contact Andy today (andy@esteemtraining.com – 07766 658 083). Our next, fully funded CSS programme will begin in November.
