Congratulations to Grant for becoming a qualified first aider

Once again we are celebrating another Steemies achievement. This time we celebrate as Grant, our Programme Coordinator, becomes a qualified first aider.
We are definitely practicing what we preach this summer with many of us seizing the opportunity to develop and learn new skills. It has been brilliant from a team perspective to hear about each course and take something from it.

Last week Grant attended a one day course which covered Emergency First Aid at Work. It was an intensive course which covered a lot from CPR to what to do in the event of an allergic reaction. Definitely great knowledge to have and I think the rest of the team now have a few questions for Grant.
Unfortunately, Grant was unable to carry out the practical section for the chocking exercise. This was due to a candidates ribs breaking a few weeks before. This is very common, however, maybe a little too intense for a course!
Congratulations Grant on completing the course and becoming a qualified first aider. A great achievement and it’s fab to know that (touch wood) if anything did happen you could help us out.
