Congratulations to all 27 candidates for completing our SVQ3 programme

We are finishing the week on a high as all 27 candidates complete our 7th, Modern Apprenticeship SVQ Level 3, Occupational Work Supervision Programme!
At the beginning of the year we welcomed 27 candidates onto our SVQ3, Occupational Work Supervision programme at the Westerwood Hotel in Cumbernauld. Over the past few months the Esteem team have enjoyed getting to know the candidates and helping them work towards their construction SVQ Level 3 and CSCS Gold Card.
The candidates came from a variety of companies including AGM Group, Albann, AMCO Giffen, AMEY, Chatway Ltd, Glasgow Sealants, JM Services, John Wylie Building, McTaggart Construction, Morris & Spottiswood, Proclad Roofing, Procladd (scotland) Ltd, Prolink Ltd, RCS Group, RL Engineering Services and Scotia FM. With this range of trades, discussions at workshops have been very insightful with all sharing different experiences.
Our Occupational Work Supervision programme is a fully funded Modern Apprenticeship which leads to an SVQ Level 3 and CSCS Gold Card. It is designed for Site Supervisors who are looking to develop within their role and learn key techniques for managing a team and projects.
It involves candidates attending 4 half day developmental workshops which cover the knowledge and understanding aspect of the SVQ. That’s 50%! Alongside this candidates have a handful of 1:1 sessions with their assessor an on-site visit. These sessions are designed to ensure candidates are supported throughout their VQ.

At Esteem we strive to develop and deliver informative and enjoyable Modern Apprenticeship programmes. We want our candidates to achieve their construction SVQ qualification and CSCS card whilst developing within their role. With this, there is always a great buzz around the team when our candidates achieve their well deserved qualification.
There is an even bigger buzz when receive positive feedback from the candidates:
The Esteem training programme has been informative and helpful. The programme has been enjoyable and well presented by all involved. The onsite visit was a good experience and was helpful in feedback from assessor
Jason Cunningham, Procladd Scotland
