A successful end for our 2nd, SVQ Level 4 programme

Congratulations to the 20 candidates who have recently completed our SVQ Level 4: Construction Site Management programme. A brilliant achievement and we hope our programme has helped you develop within your role.

Another bitter sweet moment for the Esteem team as our 2nd Modern Apprenticeship, Construction Site Management programme comes to an end. It has been fantastic getting to know all of our candidates and helping them achieve their SVQ Level 4 qualification and CSCS Black Card.

This was a special programme for the team as over 50% of the candidates have progressed from one of our supervisory programmes. We aim to switch people on to learning and it is always fantastic to see our candidates continue their developmental journey with us. Stay tuned to see which candidates progress to our SVQ Level 5 programme!

At Esteem our goal is to help candidates achieve their SVQ Level 4 qualification and CSCS Black card. However, we also want our candidates to feel more confident and knowledgeable within their role. With this, our approach is unique and we believe we are the only construction training provider in the UK to offer developmental SVQs.

Our CSM programme consists of developmental workshops which cover the knowledge and understanding aspects of the VQ. That’s 50%! Candidates will also attend 1:1 sessions with their assessor and an on-site visit. This approach is designed to ensure candidates are supported throughout their SVQ and will achieve it on time.

To ensure we are providing an educational and enjoyable experience at the end of our programmes we ask candidates to provide feedback. When asked what has worked candidates mentioned:

  • Our unique developmental workshops and the pace at which we work through the VQ
  • The shared learning and networking with others in a similar role
  • Our online portfolio which gives them 24hour access
  • Our bespoke toolkit which provides candidates with information regarding the topics explored and templates which they can adopt
  • Our supportive approach – 1:1 sessions and on-site visits

But don’t just listen to us:

This a very well laid out course with a very helpful team to guide you through it. This course has helped reinforce the practices and daily operations I carry out as well as given the opportunity to learn how other sectors operate. I would recommend this course to anyone looking to progress into a more management orientated role
